A long time friend of mine approached me requesting a logo for a competitive team he was putting together. The team was for a card based strategy game called Flesh and Blood. I was happy to work with him and the rest of the team to create the vision for their team's logo.
The name of the team is "Runaways", which is derived from one of the cards used in the game. One thing requested from the team was to utilize sneakers in the logo, but other than that I was able to express my creativity as I saw fit. After researching some sneaker-based logos online I had the inspiration to incorporate letters into the outsoles of the shoes.
After some fine tuning with the colors for the shoes and the font, we ultimately landed on this black and gold style shoe with gray and white accents. Multiple variations and layouts of the logo were used, both with and without the font, to be applied to various mediums. The logo was utilized on their Twitter profile, YouTube page, and on merchandise such as stickers that were given away at Flesh and Blood events/tournaments.
